The supervisory bonus is to recognize supervisory responsibilities required of supervisors most often receiving the same pay as non-supervisory subordinates. Bonuses must be negotiated annually at the beginning of the appraisal period. Specific criteria are further defined on page 103 of the DEMO Training Manual. An agreement form has been developed and must be signed by all concerned parties.
The VEP offers the opportunity for voluntary assignments to former employees who have retired or separated from the Federal service. The Headquarters and each subordinate activity of the USAMRDC will be in a separate competitive area for RIF purposes. Further, within each subordinate activity, detachments located at different geographic sites will be in a separate competitive area for RIF purposes. Each of the four occupational families will be a separate competitive area within each activity.
Included in the DEMO are all participating USAMRDC activities' GS/GM civilian appropriate fund employees (competitive and excepted service), Interns (both DA and local), and personnel added to USAMRDC in like positions. At the present time, only non-participating USAMRDC activities include USAMRICD and USAMITC.
If the employee was previously on retained pay, but following conversion to DEMO, the employee's salary is now encompassed within his/her payband, the employee will no longer be on retained pay and will be entitled to the full annual general increase.
If the employee's salary upon conversion into DEMO is higher than the payband to which the employee has been converted, he/she will remain on pay retention and will be entitled to 50% of the annual general increase.
Yes. "A" and "B" performers are eligible for both performance payouts and for awards (monetary and honorary). "C" employees do not receive performance payouts from the paypool, but they may receive awards (monetary and honorary).
Yes, TDAs have been modified to reflect paybands.
Yes, the salary range for each payband will be adjusted in accordance with the most recent salary tables.
An employee will not be converted to a lower grade than held immediately preceding conversion into the DEMO unless since that time the employee has undergone a reduction in band.
Yes, if employee was covered by the DEMO and had no pay adjustments processed on them during that period of time.
